Looking south under the goods line span of Bridge 379. The deck above is the original Great Central ironwork, still carrying rail traffic after over a century. The extra width provided on the abutments and central pier is seen to good effect here. In the background, a footpath leaves the Great Central Way and rises to run parallel with the Leicester Burton line for a distance.
