Bridge 375

SK 5784 0345 - Height 12'2", Straight Span 25'2", Skew Span 27'7"

Bridge 375 carried the main lines and goods loops over the Old River Soar. It is a two span iron girder structure with latticework parapets. It is located immediately north of the Upperton Road Viaduct and is one of three bridges over the Soar at this location, the other two providing a connection to the northern part of the goods yard. The bridge is in fair condition and has been relatively recently repainted. This is no doubt due to it forming part of the Great Central Way footpath - its immediate neighbours have certainly not received similar attentions.
