Bridge 385

SK 5695 0114 - Height 16'4", Straight Span 40'0", Skew Span 45'6"

Bridge 385 is a single span iron girder bridge over Braunstone Lane East / Middleton Street. It is in reasonable decorative and structural order although, as with most of the formation within the city, it has been grafittied. This bridge forms part of Leicester Council's "Great Central Way" footpath / cycle lane. Immediately to the east of the bridge is Bridge 385A, a small single span bridge which carries Middleton Street over a small stream. A short way to the south is Bridge 386 over the Grand Union Canal, and a third of a mile to the north is Bridge 384, a viaduct over the River Biam floodplain
