Bridge 385A

SK 5699 0110 - Height 3'8", Straight Span 20'0", Skew Span 21'8"

Bridge 385A is located directly to the east of Bridge 385 and was built by the railway in order to carry Middleton Road over a stream diverted during construction of the line. As originally built, it was of iron girder construction with brickwork parapets. At some point in the past it has been rebuilt and is now supported on a concrete deck. The parapets have also been altered and now comprise of metal railings above road height, although the brickwork end pillars with their gritstone cappings are still extant.
